One bot for protection, moderation, tickets, levels and giveaways — configured from a real web dashboard.
What is Sylon?
Sylon is a complete Discord management bot: five layers of protection against spam, advertising and server nuking; a full moderation toolkit with per-action limits and logs; a ticket system that produces readable HTML transcripts; leveling with reward roles and custom rank cards; giveaways with a public web page; and invite tracking that survives the invite being deleted. Everything is configured on a web dashboard rather than through a wall of chat commands, and every module is off by default so a server only runs what it actually chose.
Why Sylon?
Most bots either bury you in features you will never enable, or cover one area well and leave the rest to three other bots. Sylon is built the other way round: sixteen systems that share one settings model, one language setting, one log destination and one dashboard. The protections are tuned to avoid false positives — the ad detector needs objective evidence before it acts, the word filter normalises text so tricks do not slip through, and the guard reverses destructive actions rather than merely reporting them. Nothing punishes a member on a guess.
Our Story
Sylon began as an internal moderation tool for our own communities, where the problem was never a lack of bots — it was that no single one covered spam, advertising, raids and support tickets without contradicting the others. We rebuilt it around a single configuration model and ran it on real public servers for years, tightening detection every time something slipped through or a normal member got caught by mistake. What is public today is that same bot, opened up.
Our Mission
A server owner should not need five bots, three dashboards and a paid subscription just to keep a community clean. Sylon aims to make moderation quiet: protections that act correctly without being told twice, records that answer "what actually happened" months later, and settings that a new moderator can read without a manual. Where a decision affects a member, it should be visible, attributable and reversible.
Sylon runs on a sharded Node.js gateway connection with a MongoDB cluster and a Next.js dashboard. Statistics, voice tracking, XP and activity logging run as background work so they never delay a moderation action. Settings are cached in memory and invalidated the moment the dashboard writes a change, so an edit takes effect immediately rather than after a timeout. Ticket transcripts, rank cards and stat images are rendered on demand and never depend on an external service.

Twenty languages
Sylon speaks twenty languages. A server picks one and every message the bot sends there — moderation notices, ticket panels, level-ups, giveaway embeds, transcripts, log entries — uses it. Slash command descriptions are localised separately by Discord in each user's own client language. Nothing falls back to English mid-sentence: every string is translated in full for every language, and the dashboard is checked against the bot so the two never describe the same setting differently.
Your data
Sylon stores what the features you enabled require and nothing beyond it: message and voice statistics for levels, ticket transcripts for the tickets you opened, invite attribution for the invite tracker, and moderation records for your own logs. When Sylon is removed from a server, that server's data is deleted. Member profiles are public only if the member opts in, and participant names on public giveaway pages appear only if the server turns that on.
